Let's go Luke!
A little bit of history for Luke and his family:
In 2022, Luke's mama (Dawn) was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer. Luke's grandmother (Dawn's mother) died from leukemia in August 2022.
Luke was then diagnosed with neuroblastoma right before Mother's Day in 2025. His diagnosis comes with a high risk of recurrence. This means he needs extremely aggressive and fast treatment, which will take a minimum of 15 months. Luke will need several rounds of chemotherapy, at least one surgery to remove the tumor that has already spread from his liver to his diaphragm. The tumor itself is large enough to cause pain. Radiation will follow, 2 stem cell transplants, and 6 months of immunotherapy.
This is going to be a long road for Luke and his family. Most of the time will be in the hospital. When he is home, he will need visiting nurses to come and care for him.
Luke is 5. He will be graduating from Kindergarten this June from St. Mary's in Lancaster, NY.
Due to the intense treatment, Dawn will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. Billy has taken off for at least the summer to be by Luke's side.
Insurance has already created high bills for the family, plus many of the upcoming treatments that will not be covered by insurance. They will need money for a mortgage and bills while not working.
But seriously, who wouldn't want a family to be together for this?
RJCCo's June family is Luke's family. Fifty percent of all the proceeds will go directly to the family. Please help the family with their overwhelming worldly needs while they care for their baby, without adding to their financial stress.
